Headwaters

A research and organizing platform arguing that Colorado's water crisis and its utility crisis are one structural argument, expressed twice — structural explainers, a live crisis dashboard, an organizer library, and campaign tracking.

Headwaters makes the case that headwater position protects Colorado at the interstate-compact level but not at the utility-monopoly or local-supply levels — and that treating those as one story instead of three is both analytically wrong and an organizing risk. The platform is a plain static site built around four streams: structural explainer articles, a live dashboard tracking the underlying crises, an organizer library (comment templates, submission channels), and a campaign deadline tracker.

Status

Live at mnechromancer.github.io/headwaters. Two items are still explicitly flagged in-place on the site rather than glossed over: an unverified franchise-fight status claim, and a contact sheet with real TODOs (no fabricated names or emails).
